David McKay is a technology executive with over 25 years of experience building and scaling companies across fintech, cloud infrastructure, AI, and compliance technology. Currently serving as CTO and Co-Founder of Particle Intel, he's leading the development of next-generation AI-powered AML screening solutions that are transforming how organizations approach compliance.

David's career began at age 8 with his first line of code. By 1999, he was at Google helping build the infrastructure that would power the world's most-used search engine, followed by roles at Microsoft and AdMob. Early in his career, he was part of the legendary w00w00 security group, a collective that shaped modern cybersecurity thinking and launched numerous successful technology careers.

His entrepreneurial journey took him to Jakarta, where he co-founded Bellua and built a 300-person team across 20 countries, ultimately leading to an 8-figure exit to SingTel. Living and working across Asia, Europe, and the US has given David a truly global perspective on technology and business—a perspective he deepened while earning his M.Phil in Technology Policy from Cambridge University's Judge Business School with First-class Honors.

From there, David embarked on a startup tour across different sectors—cloud infrastructure at DigitalOcean, insurtech at Policygenius, consulting at GLG, and fintech at Card.com. Each stop built expertise in different domains while learning what it takes to build products that scale, teams that thrive, and businesses that last. Today, as CTO and Co-Founder of Particle Intel, he's applying those lessons to transform compliance technology with AI.

Beyond boardrooms and codebases, you'll find David scuba diving, playing tennis, or on the pickleball court. He's an active mentor and advisor to startups and a featured speaker at technology conferences worldwide.
